Adoption story: I adopted Kiska from Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter on my first week of work. He was about 8 months old at the time and was surrendered to the shelter by a previous owner. I fell in love immediately. I remember sneaking away as much as possible when working to hang out with him in his kennel. Shhhhh….don’t tell my boss.
Weight: About 100lbs
Favorite things about him: When he sleeps and makes little “yip” noises. Seeing him so happy when he gets to be off leash running around. His “peek-a-boo” trick where he will come up behind you, put this head between your legs and look up at you. He will play hide-and-seek and will find me wherever I am in the house. I could go on forever…REALLY.
Quirks: He doesn’t like certain noises…. like wind through windows, or pager beeps (but only the ones on Grey’s Anatomy), or the sound my computer makes when I put something in the trash bin. But, lightning, fireworks, gunshots…no problem.
